Ingredients
1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons milk
3 cups Niobrara Grain and Milling All Purpose Flour
Directions
Blend shortening, sugar, and eggs. Add soda, vanilla, and milk, mix until well combined, then add 3 cups of flour.
Preheat oven to 375°F
Lightly dust the surface with flour. Roll dough out into ¼-½ inch thickness. Using cookie cutters to cut dough into shapes. Place cookies 1 inch apart. Bake in preheated oven for 6-8 minutes until edges are lightly brown. Cool completely before decorating with your favorite icing.
